Delivering Excellence: UNICON Conference

An annual conference for Executive Education industry experts, typically hosted on campus by a different university each year and attended by about 200 attendees. Thunderbird Executive Education hosted the first virtual conference during the pandemic with five months preparation time, after the original host bowed out. With almost 500 attendees the conference became the most attended and most global conference UNICON ever had. The program portal required many custom elements, including a tabbed schedule, custom designed thumbnails, and a custom Information Desk for the various technology tools used in the conference. My design work led to various internal and external attendees reaching out to me to help improve their own Canvas pages, and a custom client requesting the same set up for their first program - a $2 million contract that resulted from their conference attendance.
